"Texas Hill Country Festivals and Seasonal Events"

billboard

At the Llano River RV Park, you can enjoy the lure of the great outdoors, and spice it up by joining one of many local festivals and seasonal events found near the park year round. You can pick Fredericksburg, which is just a 30-minute drive away, and a thriving hub of culture, arts, and commerce.

A word of advice. Although Fredericksburg plays host to many festivals, if you want to triple your fun and memories make October the vacation month!

In the spring the weather in the Texas Hill Country is warm and the Texas Wildflowers are blooming.

The Fredericksburg Crawfish Festival (last week of May)
Some of the gustatory delights you'll encounter are red beans with hot rice, gumbo, and other Cajun delicacies, mixed in with corndogs, German Tacos, and sausage. When you've had your fill, bargain away at the crafts and art stalls around the site.

The Fredericksburg Antique Tractor & Engine Club (June 9, 10, & 11)
Watch as the annual parade of the latest farm and machinery equipment goes marching by or marvel at the antique machinery and farm equipment exhibit. There's plenty to see and experience, as you wade about the food, drinks and crafts stalls.

The Annual Texas Mesquite Art Festival (second week of October)
On exhibit and for sale; you'll bound to see innovative and exceptional wooden furniture and other wood products, created from Mesquite, a Texan hardwood.

The Fredericksburg Food and Wine Fest (last week of October)
Sip world-class Texan wine, partake of specialty foods on sale, listen to great music and mingle, mingle, mingle.

Oktoberfest (first weekend in October)
Fredericksburg salutes its' German heritage, by rolling out barrels of German beer, music, foods and drink, arts and crafts. It's not just for adults, as there are areas set aside for children and families.
